During this time, the office will be a very busy environment and the Skagway Admin Assistant will be expected to juggle dispatch, scheduling, guide requests, phone calls, and more all while remaining calm and organized.
LIVING SPACE AND RENT STRUCTURE
Employeehousing is located indowntownSkagway, the grocery store and other attractions are within walking distance from housing.Accommodations consistof shared roomstypically 2-4 beds to a room, although the largest room is a 6-occupant bunkroom.Each house features shared bathrooms, a kitchen area, andlivingroom. Employeesresidingin housing are expected to respect others andmaintaina clean living area.Rent procedures are outlined in the Employee Manual. The two downtown houses share a large yardand mountain views,providinga fantastic base for our team.

<li>Rent deductions are made twice a month with 50% of the months rent deducted from the 1st and 2nd paycheck.</li>

Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides executive support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as assisting the CFO and the organization with administrative tasks as required. The Administrative Assistant organizes calendars, manages board reports and correspondence, and performs work that is varied and generally administrative or project oriented. Requires a broad understanding of organizational operations and procedures. Handles confidential and sensitive material. Makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work. 
 
Responsibilities Include:
<ul>
<li>Supports CEO with organizational and administrative needs, including meeting scheduling</li>
<li>Support Board of Directors and Board Committee activities, including preparation of board documents, and meeting scheduling</li>
<li>Work closely with CEO and Board Chair to gather all Board Meeting materials for pre-read, set-up and follow-up meeting tasks, includingpreparation of Board minutes</li>
<li>Prepare reports, letters and other documents, including both paper and electronic file management</li>
<li>Assists with maintaining required Chapter documentation</li>
<li>Information Technology support; assists with ordering computers, office supplies equipment.</li>
<li>Support with HR-related tasks, including job postings and employee recruitment, background checks, badging, onboarding, personnel file maintenance and offboarding</li>
<li>Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail</li>
<li>Special Projects and other duties as assigned</li>

Education and Experience
<ul>
<li>Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a partner to executive leadership of an organization and experience with Board relationships.</li>
<li>Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Works collaboratively with a wide range of people and personalities.</li>
<li>Strong time and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Excellent written communication skills</li>
<li>Enthusiastic, energetic, and willing to work as a team member.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidential matters.</li>
<li>Proven self-starter who works independently.</li>
