Working Conditions and Hours:

Each Bookkeeper is cross trained in the basic daily duties and those duties are rotated. Assisting others within the department is expected and encouraged. Most seem to enjoy this closeness and become good friends and helpers to one another. Bookkeepers typically work 8-9 hours a day, averaging 40 hours per week. Typical weekly hours would be; Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday is 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with a required minimum 30 minute lunch break, however you are allowed up to an hour. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records specific to manufacturing operations
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer invoicing
Reconcile bank, credit card, and inventory-related accounts monthly
Track purchase orders, raw material costs, and job costing data
Prepare financial reports for management, including P&amp;L and balance sheets
Assist with payroll processing and timecard reconciliation for shop floor staff
