<li>Review of Final inspection sign-off sheet.</li>
<li>Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects.</li>
<li>Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent.</li>
<li>Assure products are free of gaps, mismatches, fairing, and of acceptable contour and waviness.</li>
<li>Assure products are of good workmanship and within specified workmanship standards (e.g., oil canning, riding conditions, loose fasteners, drill starts, scratches, dings, burrs, fastener edge distance, etc.).</li>
<li>Verify all visible part finishes, paint, and skin quality are acceptable to required visual standards. </li>
<li>Verify hardware cleanliness and absence of internal or external foreign object debris. </li>
<li>Verify fasteners are properly installed; assure torque stripe is continuous from head to the surface and of correct color. </li>
<li>Verify applicable First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements have been completed, traceability of supporting records, documentation of results and overall compliance. </li>
<li> Verify shipping documentation is legible and includes correct identification (part number, serial number), configuration change letter, PD line item/quantity/change letter, shipping destination, etc.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in mechanical inspection, preferably in aerospace or a related field.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of inspection methodologies, tools, and techniques.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li>
<li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S.</li>
<li>Must be willing to undergo background check.</li>
