Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 to $28.00/hour on w2

Job Summary
Client is seeking a Site IT Support Administrator to provide onsite IT support within a manufacturing plant environment. This role will act as a Level 2 support resource, assisting end users with hardware, software, and system-related issues, supporting special-purpose PCs connected to manufacturing equipment, and collaborating closely with the centralized IT Service Desk.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide onsite end-user IT support for PCs, smartphones, printers, and standard applications
• Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues and guide users on IT tools
• Act as a Level 2 technician, receiving escalated tickets from the Level 1 Service Desk using BASF ticketing systems
• Support Special Purpose PCs and connect systems to manufacturing equipment
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams for advanced troubleshooting
• Assist internal stakeholders with ordering hardware and software using BASF tools
• Perform user onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setup, account access, permissions, printers, and network drives
• Deliver a monthly 30-minute IT training session focused on Windows applications and general IT best practices
• Support IT security, compliance, audits, and assessments
• Maintain documentation and track multiple tasks, interruptions, and escalations efficiently

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience in an IT Support / IT Administrator role
• Strong working knowledge of:
oMicrosoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Intermediate level)
oWindows operating systems and basic smartphone setup (email, activation)
oMacros, Visual Basic (preferred), and web-based applications
• Experience supporting manufacturing or plant environments is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team
