Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Job Description Own uptime. Elevate safety. Protect quality.
Your mission: keep sophisticated production equipment and facility systems operating at their best. From PLC/HMI diagnostics to three‑phase power checks and mechanical rebuilds, you’ll be the hands-on problem solver who prevents issues before they start — and fixes them fast when they do.
Your impact
On any given shift, you might trace a nuisance fault in ladder logic, swap a faulty prox, weld a bracket to stabilize a guard, or perform PMs on building utilities — all while documenting work and collaborating across teams to maintain a safe, efficient operation.
Core responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Directly interface with PLCs, HMIs, and control networks to reduce downtime
- Execute preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility/building systems
- Read and apply schematics, machine drawings, and OEM documentation
- Support facility tasks including welding, basic plumbing, and general repairs
- Accurately document work performed and follow all safety standards and procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a manufacturing maintenance role or equivalent technical/trade education
- Demonstrated experience with PLC/HMI troubleshooting and automation systems
- Competence with three‑phase electrical systems, industrial controls, and machinery
- Safety-conscious, meticulous, and collaborative teammate
- Adaptable learner eager to cross-train across a variety of equipment
Nice to have
- Roll forming equipment experience
- Training in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and forklift operation
If you’re ready for a role where no two days look the same — and your technical judgment truly matters — we’d like to meet you.
