The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing the sales process and driving profitable sales growth within an assigned sales territory to both existing and new Airgas customers. The AM will be required to meet and exceed both corporate and regional objectives for profitable sales growth, A/R management, and customer retention within their assigned territory.

<li> Develops and executes sales plans utilizing Airgas's sales directives and guidelines in order to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts. Qualifies and pursues sales leads.</li>

<li> Cultivates customer relationships by developing a deep knowledge of the customer's business and establishing a consultative relationship.</li>
</ul>

<li> Engages customers by linking the customer's business priorities to the Airgas value proposition.</li>

<li> Prepares sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms, and estimated date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of Airgas's production/delivery schedules and .</li>

<li> Keeps current with industry insights, current Airgas product mixes, monitors competition by gathering current relevant marketplace including information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.</li>

<li> Partners with internal resources to accomplish growth objectives. Establishes and maintains clear and consistent lines of communication with internal departments relative to customer successes, customer opportunities, new customer developments and other customer specific information.</li>

<li> Maintains and submits sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses) as required by District Manager (DM) through SAP.</li>
</ul>

<li> Actively reviews and manages existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize Airgas working capital investment and financial risk.</li>

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 10. Assists in the smooth functioning of clinic operations by helping coworkers with phone answering, appointments, patient direction and assistance to exam/treatment rooms, and other routine clinic tasks on an occasional basis and as directed.
 11. Adheres to and reflects organizational values in daily work.
 12. Serves on agency committees as may be assigned. 
 13. Maintains an obligation to report wrongdoing/violation of agency policies, applicable federal, state and local laws, and rules and regulations pertaining to agency operations, to immediate supervisor or identified compliance officer.
 14. Completes all mandatory inservice education programs and completes any other additional inservice hours that are minimally required for the position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 1. Current license and registration to practice nursing in the state of New York as a LPN.

<li>Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds, perform one person transfer under routine and emergency situations, reposition a bedbound participant alone, and able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, pull, climb, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements of the upper extremities.</li>
<li>BLS certification.</li>
<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Acceptable driver's license and automobile available for use with current insurance.</li>
<li>Minimum of one-year experience with frail elderly.</li>
<li>One (1) year skilled nursing facility, home care or hospital experience. </li>
<li>Successful completion of proficiency in medication administration exam.</li>
<li>Computer literacy.</li>
<li>Use of telephone and availability by telephone</li>
