This role is essential in supporting the development, amendment, and execution of key transmission-related contracts while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong cross‐functional communication. Hybrid | 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist in preparing, amending, and executing transmission contracts and agreements</li>
<li>Build knowledge of the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and related federal regulations</li>
<li>Support enterprise-wide strategic and regulatory initiatives</li>
<li>Maintain accurate reporting and data in contract monitoring systems</li>
<li>Communicate updates, risks, and issues across teams and leadership</li>
<li>Understand system operations and how decisions impact customers and transmission/distribution</li>
<li>Document processes and maintain thorough records</li>
<li>Apply sound judgment and work independently with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Identify risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies</li>
</ul>
Basic Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field OR&nbsp;High School/GED +&nbsp;5+ years&nbsp;relevant experience</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment</li>
<li>Awareness of Bulk Electric Systems (BES) and wholesale electric markets</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications
<ul>
<li>NERC Certified System Operator (Reliability Level)</li>
<li>Knowledge of generation assets, transmission systems, and operating procedures</li>
<li>Familiarity with FERC, NERC, SERC, RFC, and RTO processes</li>
<li>Experience applying contract management fundamentals</li>
<li>Experience with OATI OASIS</li>
<li>Working knowledge of transmission and customer delivery processes</li>
