We’re seeking a Contract Administrator to support our client’s Contract Managers and subject matter experts in maintaining compliance. This role is essential in supporting the development, amendment, and execution of key transmission-related contracts while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong cross‐functional communication. Hybrid | 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, amending, and executing transmission contracts and agreements
- Build knowledge of the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and related federal regulations
- Support enterprise-wide strategic and regulatory initiatives
- Maintain accurate reporting and data in contract monitoring systems
- Communicate updates, risks, and issues across teams and leadership
- Understand system operations and how decisions impact customers and transmission/distribution
- Document processes and maintain thorough records
- Apply sound judgment and work independently with minimal supervision
- Identify risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
OR High School/GED + 5+ years relevant experience - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Awareness of Bulk Electric Systems (BES) and wholesale electric markets
Desired Qualifications
- NERC Certified System Operator (Reliability Level)
- Knowledge of generation assets, transmission systems, and operating procedures
- Familiarity with FERC, NERC, SERC, RFC, and RTO processes
- Experience applying contract management fundamentals
- Experience with OATI OASIS
- Working knowledge of transmission and customer delivery processes
