Job Summary and Qualifications 
Respiratory Therapy is best described as the assessment and treatment of patients with both acute and chronic dysfunction of the cardiopulmonary system. <li>Under the general supervision of the RT Supervisor or Team Leader, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician&nbsp;</li>
<li>Your duties will include medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, obtaining and analyzing blood specimens, performing patient testing, operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, providing mechanical ventilation, maintaining artificial airways, assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, providing patient education, monitoring equipment and patient response to therapy?&nbsp;</li>
<li>Your additional responsibilities will include completing documentation of in-patient and departmental records, cleaning equipment, and maintaining safety and infection control practices.&nbsp;</li>

What qualifications you will need:&nbsp;

<li>Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must hold a current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care&nbsp;</li>
<li>NBRC CRT&nbsp;</li>
<li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date&nbsp;</li>
<li>Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date&nbsp;</li>
<li>NRP within 6 months of hire.&nbsp;</li>
<li>One year of recent clinical experience preferred&nbsp;</li>

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. <li>You will perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure. You will conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.</li>
<li>You will administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy. </li>
<li>You will assist with placement of artificial airways. You will initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation. </li>
<li>You will monitor patient for therapeutic response. You will notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response. </li>
<li>You will assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients. </li>
<li>You will respond to emergent patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation as required. </li>

As a Radiology Tech, you will:&nbsp;
 
<ul>
<li>Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services. Provides care to patients in a timely manner.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Perform all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under state law and in compliance with company policy and procedures. Document the patient record according to established clinical practice and company policies and procedures. Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests accurately. Process specimens for reference labs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Help support front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain, calibrate and perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily. Inspects and reports artifacts from the x-ray screen. Operate equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Complete semi-annual X-Ray inspections.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs. Perform equipment audits as scheduled. Ensure the occupational client’s work form is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Follow all company policies pertaining to infection control and hand hygiene.&nbsp;</li>
<li>May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 
You Should Have:&nbsp;&nbsp;

<li>Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required. State licensure may be required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>BLS certification within 30 days of start required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.&nbsp;</li>

Job Summary and Qualifications 
Cath Lab?Technicians are Cardiovascular Technologists who work in our facilities and run tests on heart health. They assist with the insertion of catheters into the heart and are responsible for measuring and administering special fluids.&nbsp;
 
What you will do in this role:&nbsp;&nbsp;
 
<ul>
<li>Under the general supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor and the CV Services Director, the Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, in cooperation with the physicians and nursing personnel, assists with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Complies with principles of sterile techniques.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collects and assembles data for database, outcome analysis and performance improvement.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responsible for carrying out any other activities assigned by the Cath Lab Supervisor or CV Services Director to ensure the department runs effectively and efficiently.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>The Cath Lab Tech must participate in the on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes to the Cath Lab when on call.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 
What qualifications you will need:&nbsp;&nbsp;
 
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Two years of current experience in Cath lab may be substituted for completion of Radiology Technologist program or invasive cardiovascular technologist (CVT) program completion.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date and maintained.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RT licensure preferred. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>If a new Invasive CVT graduate, must attain credential within 1 year of eligibility date.&nbsp;</li>
<li>One year of experience in Cath lab, or equivalent clinical experience as part of educational program.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>OJT with current 10 years or more of experience may be substituted for completion of Radiology Technologist program, Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program and RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).&nbsp;</li>
