The Assistant Dean for Career Planning and Professional Development provides leadership, management, and direct student and alumni services in the area of career services. Theatre/Drama Program Head - University of Michigan Residential College

Job Summary
The Purdue University College of Pharmacy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. The Department is composed of dynamic faculty with diverse scholarly and engagement interests that include clinical practice, clinical sciences, public health, and social and administrative sciences.
The Department Head is responsible for implementing a multifaceted mission by direct and collaborative efforts relating to vision and leadership, program administration, personnel development, and scholarly activities that occur on the West Lafayette and Indianapolis campuses. Additionally, programmatic oversight is required for graduate programs, residency and fellowship programs, and international programs in London, Colombia, and Eldoret, Kenya. The latter of which is part of a collaboration with the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine’s Nobel-prize nominated Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) program. The Department Head also is a member of the Dean’s Leadership Team and contributes to the teaching of Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate students.
The Department consists of 20 tenure-track faculty, 25 clinical faculty, along with many adjunct faculty and hundreds of affiliate faculty preceptors. Many practice in specialized areas such as drug information, internal medicine, ambulatory care, cardiology, infectious diseases, women’s health, and nuclear pharmacy. Research initiatives are also highly diverse, with a broad portfolio of funding from federal and state agencies, industry, and foundations.
Within the Department of Pharmacy Practice, two graduate program tracks exist: (a) Health Services Outcomes and Policy and (b) Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences, the latter of which operates in close collaboration with the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine. The Department also offers several PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs and many fellowship programs in collaboration with pharmaceutical industry sponsors and the FDA. Additional centers and programs within the Department include Rx-SafeNet (a pharmacy practice-based research network), the oldest and largest nuclear pharmacy training program in the country, and an endowed Center for Health Equity and Innovation. Beyond the Department, long-term partnerships and collaborations exist with the Regenstrief Institute for Health Care, the Indiana University Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Eskenazi Health, IU Health, and other health systems across Indiana.
The College is seeking candidates who possess a Doctor of Pharmacy, PhD in Pharmacy, and/or other related doctoral degree and have a solid record of: (a) a vibrant and funded scholarly research program, (b) effective leadership in areas related to the practice of pharmacy, and (c) excellence in teaching. Associate Dean for Medical Education

The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the Vice-President (Academic Affairs), and functionally under the Head of Port Management. Description The University of Washington Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is seeking one (1) full-time pathologist for appointment to join our Hematopathology Division on the School of Medicine’s clinician-teacher pathway. The qualified candidate will become the Division Head of Hematopathology, CAP/CLIA director of the Hematopathology Laboratory and Quality Director of the Clinical Trials/Developmental Hematopathology subdivision. Clinical responsibilities will include reporting of morphology for lymph nodes, tissues, bloods and marrows, as well as flow cytometry (diagnostic and minimal residual disease testing) and may include molecular diagnostic testing, hemoglobin electrophoresis and coagulation reporting, depending on the interests of the candidate. Educational activities include teaching hematology / hematopathology to students, technologists, residents and fellows. &nbsp;Applicants are expected to be involved in administrative aspects of the lab, including new test development, and develop an area of focused research / scholarly work.
This appointment may be at the rank of Associate or full Professor, without tenure due to reasons of funding. Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank.
The base salary range for this position will be: Associate Professors: $21,903 to $30,049 per month ($262,831 to $360,592 annually); Professors: $26,023 to $39,377 per month ($312,274 to $472,526 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Associate and Full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The University's new VCSA will partner with the Chancellor to shape the future for a strong and valued Student Affairs program. In support of the vision and mission of the University, the VCSA will lead a team to work effectively with students, both individually and by supporting student government, student organizations and clubs.
The successful candidate will be a talented and visionary individual who can work to develop innovative strategies in collaboration with academic and administrative departments to support and enhance student success. A master’s degree from an accredited institution is required, with a doctoral degree preferred. Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs is a key leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for all aspects of student affairs at the university.
