JOB SUMMARY: 
A Sanel NAPA Dispatcher leads the Delivery Driving team to success by accurately staging orders, planning efficient and timely local delivery runs using NAPA Delivery Tracker Software, to safely dispatch the driving team members to their destinations. Coordinates deliveries and communications to all wholesale customers while providing leadership and direction to the team of Delivery Drivers. Serves as the link between commercial accounts, the store team, and the outside sales team, to ensure high level of customer service, clear communications, and a culture of safety are maintained and championed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Assigns Delivery Drivers to make delivery runs by considering product to be delivered, customer locations, customer priority level, wait times, and traffic patterns at various times of day.</li>
<li>Tracks the progress that Delivery Drivers make along their routes.</li>
<li>Balances and adjusts workloads, break times, and customer needs when assigning Delivery Drivers.</li>
<li> Monitors Department hours to maintain budget needs.</li>
<li>Receives and resolves any requests or complaints made by the customers.</li>
<li> Acts as Delivery Driver when/if needed during peak delivery times.</li>
<li>Oversees/orchestrates the pulling of parts for delivery orders and attaches appropriate hazardous sheets.</li>
<li>Ensures customer returns are picked up at customer locations and that credit is processed in an expedient manner.</li>
<li>Champion and adhere to company safety rules and regulations including the use of appropriate safety equipment, policies, and regulations.</li>
<li>Completes weekly vehicle safety checklists and ensures they are sent to Fleet Management at the end of each month.</li>
<li>Proficient at using NAPA Delivery Tracker </li>
<li>Helps process online orders and overflow incoming phone calls as needed.</li>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

<li>High School diploma, GED or equivalent required</li>
<li>Proficiency with computers required.</li>
<li>Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record required.</li>

The Dispatcher is responsible for executing deliveries to customers in a cost-effective manner while achieving customer satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities include:
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance to DOT regulations (hours of service, driver logs, inspections, HazMat requirements, etc.) and company policies and procedures. Track and ensure driver credentials are current (driver file).
Schedule and perform routine driver safety audits (Driving and Delivery Evaluations).
Monitor driver performance and delivery efficiency, continuously track performance and provide coaching and discipline as necessary. Participate in performance assessment of drivers.
Logistics and Routing:
Create and place purchase orders to vendors for product pick up, obtain pick up numbers from vendors and coordinate product pick up at vendor/terminal locations.

Maintain the freight cost model and the electronic log system. Manage access to the fuel card account.

Coverage and Capacity Planning:
Perform administrative tasks such as receive orders by phone or e-mail, order entry, purchase orders and receiving, invoicing, batch tickets and batch receipts as necessary for coverage (employee absence) or to assist in completing transactions in a timely manner.
Manage coverage for driver time off.
Assist in recruiting, hiring and orientation of new drivers. Perform capacity planning for manpower and equipment to enable growth and coverage when resources are limited.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 3 years experience in customer order execution including route assignment for company drivers and assigning orders to contract carriers.
· Experience in creating routes with multiple deliveries for company drivers, and interfacing with drivers proactively during the route to ensure delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
· Proven track record of improving delivery efficiency through data analysis, modeling and tools.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Plan, coordinate and schedule work crews and equipment to each job including travel, load time and non-job related projects and tasks.</li>
<li>Manage paperwork related to daily export packing crew responsibilities.</li>
<li>Assign and dispatch work crews every morning to job sites and yard projects based on customer and MEI requirements ensuring employees are assigned to job/projects in accordance with their skill set.</li>
<li>Dispatch/assign equipment (MEI and rentals) and tools to crew per job requirements including scheduling of equipment repairs. Completion of all paperwork related to equipment maintenance, issues and repairs including the ordering of permits.</li>
<li>Prepare, organize and distribute all required paperwork to appropriate groups (crew, accounting, operations management) related to the job, change orders, assignment of crew and equipment, safety, JHA’s (job hazard analysis) and equipment repairs &amp; inspections.</li>
<li>Perform data entry into software applications (WrightPlan) for labor and equipment.</li>
<li>Review, edit and adjust labor hours in electronic timekeeping system (ADP), preparing final review and approval by manager.</li>
<li>Update dispatch job board daily by adding and cancelling pending and confirmed jobs.</li>
<li>Coordinate, track and schedule drop off and pick up of all equipment and rentals related to jobs, including equipment from other MRC locations.</li>
<li>Provide direct supervision of driving and rigging crews to insure performance, safety and MEI standards are being met.</li>
<li>Communicate daily with job foreman and drivers for efficiency of scheduling and dispatch.</li>
<li>Provide new hire orientation to include safety, job and timekeeping &amp; attendance requirements and expectations. </li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):
<ul>
<li>High school diploma.</li>
<li>Minimum two (2) years proven dispatching experience or comparable field preferably within the rigging or transportation industry.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills.</li>
<li>Possess creative thinking and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.</li>
<li>Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of DOT regulations.</li>
<li>Knowledge of customs requirements as it relates to export or import shipments.</li>
<li>Valid and current driver’s license.</li>
