LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our client's team in Terra Santa, San Diego. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. This position plays a critical role in coordinating schedules, communicating with drivers and field staff, and ensuring efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers, technicians, or field staff to service locations in a timely manner
- Monitor schedules, routes, and job progress throughout the day to ensure operational efficiency
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment updates, arrival times, and service requests
- Answer high-volume incoming phone calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly
- Enter and maintain accurate data within dispatching systems and company databases
- Work closely with management and team members to resolve scheduling conflicts and service issues
- Track job completion statuses and provide updates to clients and internal staff
- Maintain organized records, logs, and reports related to dispatch activities
Qualifications:
- Previous dispatching, logistics, call center, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Position Details:
- Contract to hire role
- Located onsite in Terra Santa, San Diego
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
- 8:00am-4:30pm PST
- Compensation: $27.00-$29.00 per hour DOE
