Compensation:
$48,000 -$ 60,000 per year
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage client intake including collecting information, completing forms, and organizing documentation</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person communication</li>
<li>Draft legal documents and client correspondence as directed by attorneys</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain organized case files and ensure they are up to date with all relevant materials</li>
<li>Coordinate attorney calendars and assist with scheduling meetings, hearings, and calls</li>
<li>Communicate with courts and administrative agencies to confirm dates and resolve scheduling questions</li>
<li>Maintain the firm’s master calendar with key deadlines and reminders</li>
<li>Scan, copy, and prepare legal materials as needed</li>
<li>Track time entries and assist with billing data entry</li>
<li>Use legal practice management software, such as Clio, to manage tasks, documents, and client communications</li>
<li>Use document creation system, such as WealthDocx to prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney</li>
<li>Run errands and assist with other general office tasks as needed</li>
<li>Support paralegals and attorneys with preparation for meetings, filings, and ongoing case management</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma required; additional training or education preferred</li>
<li>Experience in an estate planning and probate law firm is required</li>
<li>Familiarity with legal secretarial duties, intake processes, and client interaction</li>
<li>Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required</li>
<li>Prior experience using legal practice software such as Clio or MyCase is a plus</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and time management skills</li>
<li>Professional communication style with clients, courts, and colleagues</li>
<li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn</li>
