As a Legal Assistant at our firm, you will play a key role in client relations, intake, document preparation, scheduling, and keeping our operations running smoothly. Salary range: $48,000–$60,000, based on experience.

Compensation:
$48,000 -$ 60,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Manage client intake including collecting information, completing forms, and organizing documentation
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person communication
- Draft legal documents and client correspondence as directed by attorneys
- Prepare and maintain organized case files and ensure they are up to date with all relevant materials
- Coordinate attorney calendars and assist with scheduling meetings, hearings, and calls
- Communicate with courts and administrative agencies to confirm dates and resolve scheduling questions
- Maintain the firm’s master calendar with key deadlines and reminders
- Scan, copy, and prepare legal materials as needed
- Track time entries and assist with billing data entry
- Use legal practice management software, such as Clio, to manage tasks, documents, and client communications
- Use document creation system, such as WealthDocx to prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney
- Run errands and assist with other general office tasks as needed
- Support paralegals and attorneys with preparation for meetings, filings, and ongoing case management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; additional training or education preferred
- Experience in an estate planning and probate law firm is required
- Familiarity with legal secretarial duties, intake processes, and client interaction
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required
- Prior experience using legal practice software such as Clio or MyCase is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Professional communication style with clients, courts, and colleagues
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn
