The #1 Priority of this position is…
To assist the Activities &amp; Entertainment Director in executing the residents’ activity program, lead group activities and visit residents to complete their Activity Profile. 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Assist the Director in decorating the building for all parties, holidays and special events.
</li>
<li>
Follow the daily activities schedule and carry-out the assigned planned activities and events.
</li>
<li>
Maintain an ongoing inventory of departmental supplies and equipment.
</li>
<li>
General housekeeping duties in activity areas and supply closets.
</li>
<li>
Be aware of conditions that may interfere with the safety and well-being of residents while in activities.
</li>
<li>Assist the Director by interviewing residents based on their activities profile and input the information into the CRM.</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
Experience in recreation setting preferred.
</li>
<li>
Experience in party planning and carrying out social and recreational programs.
</li>
<li>
Must be creative and have appropriate input in creating new activities for the program.
</li>
<li>
Performance experience is preferred, such as singing or dancing.
</li>
<li>
Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
</li>
<li>
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Spanish preferred.
</li>
<li>
Must have basic knowledge of a variety of activities and exhibit the ability to give instructions to others.
</li>
