The Senior Software Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering modern, secure, and high-performing software solutions as part of the BIS IT Modernization Project. This initiativemandated by the BIS IT Modernization Actaims to transform legacy systems to enhance the Bureaus ability to manage export controls, enforce regulations, and protect sensitive U.S. technologies from unauthorized export. US citizenship and a T3 Secret clearance is required. This is a 4 day a week onsite role in Washington, DC. One day a week is remote. 
As a Senior Software Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, solutions architects, and cloud engineers to build and support scalable applications that align with BISs national security mission.
 
Responsibilities:

<li>Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions in alignment with project requirements, federal standards, and BIS mission objectives.</li>
