The Scientist will design and execute experiments to evaluate and characterize novel formulations, processes, and components. This role supports the development of delivery technologies and analytical tools for Lipid Nanoparticles, particularly in mRNA-based therapeutics. The candidate will perform robust and effective experimentation to formulate, characterize, and evaluate the stability of Lipid Nanoparticles, and design and execute process development and scale-up activities to support pre-clinical studies. Additionally, the role involves providing technical representation in cross-functional meetings and executing the creation and implementation of project plans supported by strong scientific rationales and technical approaches.

<li>Ph.D. in Chemical or Biomedical Engineering (or related subject area) with 0-3 years or BS/MS with 8-10+ years of relevant industry experience.</li>
<li>Experience working on formulation and characterization of diverse modalities including mAbs, fusion proteins, and RNA modalities.</li>
<li>Strong scientific and organizational skills with the ability to lead projects independently and work efficiently within a team.</li>
<li>Consistent record of creative thinking and problem-solving.</li>
</ul>

JOB DESCRIPTION:

<li>The Senior Manager in Statistics responsible for perform statistical activities in clinical trials from protocol development to final study report and statistical activities in drug in-licensing, regulatory filings and marketing.</li>
</ul>
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Review protocol, understand study requirements, prepare statistical sections, design study elements including sample size calculation, analysis methods, study duration, etc.</li>
<li>Review CRF, database design, and edit check specs</li>
<li>Review study quality surveillance plan and monitor study conduct</li>
<li>Prepare and/or review SAP, TFL shells and specifications for variable derivation</li>
<li>Work closely with Statistical Programmers and Clinical Data Manager in identify data quality issues for key efficacy and safety variables</li>
<li>Provide statistical and validation support for statistical analysis, analysis datasets and TFL Review study report, manuscripts and other documents related to statistics</li>
<li>Work on responses to health authorities and execute new analysis required for responses, review statistical inputs for regulatory documents</li>
<li>Perform other ad-hoc statistical activities as needed</li>
<li>Works effectively with cross functional groups, study team, and vendors. Proactively control and monitor timelines related to statistics and statistical programming</li>
