Key Responsibilities

<li>As a Senior Accountant, you will take on more complex accounting tasks and have greater responsibilities, including:</li>
<li>Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.</li>
<li>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.</li>
<li>General Ledger Management: Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.</li>
<li>Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable: Manage more complex AP/AR transactions, including the review and approval of entries made by peers.</li>
<li>Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.</li>
<li>Compliance &amp; Audit Support: Ensure compliance with all internal controls and external regulations. Assist in preparing for and responding to audits.</li>
<li>Tax Preparation: Coordinate with external tax advisors for the preparation of federal and state tax returns, including sales tax filings.</li>
<li>Special Projects: Lead and participate in special projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and financial analysis.</li>

Requirements:

<li>Minimum five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, with two (2) years in a senior or supervisory role preferred.</li>
<li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred.</li>
<li>Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with automated accounting and/or NetSuite systems is preferred.</li>
<li>Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.</li>
