<li>Controls operation of production machines in accordance with establishes procedures and guidelines for the process of manufacturing titanium sheet metal products.</li>
<li>Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>Works in extreme temperatures and handling hot parts in and around machines.</li>
<li>Monitors and verifies part(s) quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures while still hot using a variety of check fixtures and tools.</li>
<li>Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.</li>
<li>Must be shift-flexible and able to work overtime. </li>
<li>Training may be done on Monday - Thursday shift. </li>
<li>Other various duties as needed or as assigned.</li>

Education and Experience Requirements

<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li>
<li>1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred. </li>

 PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Lift Maintenance Electronics Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs on all Deer Valley lifts and conveyor systems, with a specialized focus on electrical and electronic control systems. This includes work on PLCs, circuit boards, low-voltage systems, DC and AC drive systems, and electrically-driven conveyor belts. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>Perform daily startup procedures and periodic inspections of lifts and conveyors in both winter and summer</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical systems, PLCs, circuit boards, DC and AC drive systems and control panels on aerial lifts and conveyors</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Assist in in-service and after-hours mechanical and electrical repairs</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoot and service low-voltage control systems and motor drives</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Participate in safety and technical training, particularly in electrical safety and control systems</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Maintain clean, organized workspaces and properly store tools and test equipment</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Participate in daily morning briefings with the maintenance team</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of records, including maintenance logs, repair documentation, and fault reports</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Conduct routine mechanical and electrical inspections and system diagnostics</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with other departments within Mountain Operations and the Resort as needed</li>
</ul>

<li>Support seasonal projects and assist in the installation or upgrading of lift electronics and conveyor components</li>

<li>Be willing to help out with any mechanical work as needed.</li>

 QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul>
<li>At least 18 years old</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Provide personal hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic tools</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Experience with PLCs, relay logic, circuit board troubleshooting, DC and AC drive systems and low-voltage systems</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Comfortable working with conveyor systems, including electrical controls and drive motors</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Ability to climb lift terminal stairs and tower ladders</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift and position components weighing 50 pounds or more in mountainous terrain</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Strong skiing ability and comfort navigating resort terrain</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Ability to work in extreme weather and at heights</li>

<ul>

 BASIC WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF: 
<ul>
<li>Lift operation, theory, and maintenance practices</li>
</ul>

<li>Troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, AC/DC circuits, and power supplies</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Proficient with DMMs and other electrical testing equipment</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Familiar with PLC systems, including programming basics and diagnostics (highly preferred)</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of conveyor belt electrical systems</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic system knowledge</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Safe use of snowmobiles and resort maintenance equipment</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Understanding of ANSI B77.1 regulations and safety protocols</li>
</ul>
