Position Overview
Riser Fitness is seeking passionate and motivated fitness professionals to become Riser Pilates Trainers. This role provides hands-on experience, structured education, and personalized mentorship to prepare you to confidently lead Level 1 and 1.5 Pilates classes at Riser Fitness run Club Pilates studios. &nbsp;
You'll develop a strong foundation in Pilates principles, cueing, class design, and safe instruction—all while gaining real-world teaching experience in a supportive, team-based environment.&nbsp;
 What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements
<ul>
<li>
Current certification in a fitness, wellness, or health discipline (e.g., personal training, yoga, group fitness, dance, physical therapy, etc.)&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
At least 2 years of experience teaching group fitness classes&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Understanding of movement mechanics, anatomy, and verbal cueing techniques&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Commitment to completing a full Mat and Reformer Pilates certification through an approved program*&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
*Requirements may vary based on cohort&nbsp; &nbsp;

 Responsibilities
1) Training Components

Attend 5 in-studio training days&nbsp; (additional days may be required)&nbsp;

Participate in virtual education and mentorship sessions&nbsp;

 2) Assessment Requirements

Pass a written exam (score of 85% or higher) covering:&nbsp;

Cueing &amp; flow structure&nbsp;

Injury awareness &amp; contraindications&nbsp;

Core Pilates teaching principles&nbsp;

Teach a portion of a group Reformer Pilates class, demonstrating:&nbsp;

<li>Effective pacing and transitions&nbsp;</li>
<li>Use of PEACE RR cueing methodology&nbsp;</li>

<li>Confident and engaging class delivery&nbsp;</li>

Post-Training Expectations

Applied Epic experience a big plus

Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
 
Organizational Skills: Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Amazing Athletes is the premier sports-based enrichment program in the country. We are looking for energetic and motivated coaches to add to our team. This fun part-time position requires traveling to different schools and day care centers to teach the basic fundamentals of 10 different sports to children ranging from 2-6 years old. Travel between classes is mandatory so prospective coaches need to have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule. We have a need for coaches all over the westside of Los Angeles including Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Westwood, Brentwood and West Hollywood.
You must be at least 18, and be energetic, athletic, and have a passion for working with young children. Training and equipment will be provided.
Hours: Weekday mornings and afternoons, beginning immediately.

Requirements
 
STRONGLY PREFERRED: 12 ECE (early childhood education) units, or working towards preschool teacher certification. Must have TB certification and be able to pass LiveScan test to coach in schools.
