Position Overview
Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Work under the direction of registered nurses, medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
 
Education/Credentials/Experience

Description
Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents all respiratory care on appropriate records. Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory care equipment. Completes patient billing.

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Associate's Degree - Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent education/experience or Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience.</li>
<li>National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.</li>
<li>National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.</li>
<li>National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.</li>
<li>New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state</li>
<li>1 year of experience (May include clinical portion of training program).</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:

<li>Coursework/Training: Flight Training.</li>
