PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The professional registered nurse Outpatient RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. This may include delegation of appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff including but not limited to RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assesses, collaborates, and documents patient/family’s basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family.
· Directs and provides, in collaboration with direct and ancillary patient care staff, all aspects of the daily provision of safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients.
· Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
· Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
· Serves as a resource for health care team, participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned.
· Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing and shipping procedures are performed and reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections.
· Identifies expected outcomes, documents and updates the nursing assessment and plan of care for assigned patients through collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
· Ensures patient awareness related to transplant and treatment modality options.
· Required to complete CAP requirements to advance.

What you will do

It is the role of the Concierge to guide consumers and their "secondary guests" through the entire urgent care visit to enhance the consumer experience by maximizing throughput and delivering clinical excellence. This position is a vital part of the urgent care team that works under the direction of the Site Manager and works closely with the provider and other clinical staff. Must demonstrate discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision-making; and a customer service attitude

<li>&nbsp;Collects identification and payor related documentation, conducts registration using EPIC workflow.</li>
\n
<li>&nbsp;Measures and documents vitals and communicates the resulting data to the consumer and provider, including temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and pain level.</li>
\n
<li>&nbsp;Documents chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC for review by provider.</li>
\n
<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs and documents laboratory testing and collections per provider orders and/or standard operating procedures, to include venipuncture with prior venipuncture competency check-off.</li>
\n
<li>Administers and documents oral and intramuscular medication using the appropriate medication verification workflow.</li>
\n
<li>Assists provider with procedures to include, but not limited to maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&amp;D, and application of ortho-goods and assists with ortho-glass application.</li>
\n
<li>Behave in a professional and empathetic manner to build trust, comfort, understanding, and relationships with consumers and secondary guest(s) and in-line with patient experience standards.</li>
\n
<li>&nbsp;Welcomes the consumer and secondary guest(s) to the center (including eye contact, smile, greeting, and personal introduction) and inquires about the purpose and nature of the visit.</li>
\n
<li>&nbsp;Recognizes and notifies provider immediately of emergent patients, performs BLS, provides oxygen administration, and assists provider with emergency care.</li>
\n
<li>&nbsp;Schedules primary care referrals for consumers</li>
\n
<li>Maintains office supplies, medical supplies, and medications at appropriate par levels as assigned.</li>
\n
<li>Performs quality checks throughout out the facility per established policies and procedures.</li>

We are seeking a health-focused and wellness-conscious individual who will embody the ethos of ALPHA in living life optimized, and will collaborate with our clients to help them achieve their wellness goals with prescribed services such as testosterone replacement therapy and weight loss solutions. The principal focus of the role will be consultations with prospective clients, follow up consultations during treatment, and procedures that are within the scope of the practice, such as Testosterone Pellet Insertion (training can be provided if needed). You will be supported by a team of MAs who administer medical services such as recurring on-site injections, and office staff who handle billing and clerical duties.
 
This role is Part-Time with 24 hours a week expected based on a recurring scheduling pattern.
This role is highly suitable for a medical practitioner (PA, APN, APRN, FNP) who has past experience working in a delegated diagnosis capacity within a HRT/TRT clinic environment, has interest in getting an in-depth view to the business operations of a clinic, and is eager to continue learning. Key Responsibilities include:
Client Service:

<li>Deliver the patient service cycle (Initial consultation, first class service, and follow up treatment plans).</li>

Administrative:

<li>Ensure that the clinic is up-to-date with new developments in the hormone optimization and anti-aging field, regulations, and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Document, retain and store all client medical records in compliance with state regulations. Practice detailed work habits including documentation, charting, and recommendations.</li>
</ul>
Sales:
<ul>
<li>Experience in an education-based, consultative sales approach to inform patients of the product and service options with the intention and ability to build retention and repeat business.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Experience:
<ul>
<li>2+ years of hands-on experience as a Nurse Practitioner working within hormone optimization, primary care or med spa environment.</li>
<li>Must possess an active medical license in the State of Texas and comply with the stated scope of practice as defined by the State Board of Nursing and State Medical Board.</li>
<li>Must have a clear disciplinary history record.</li>
<li>Ability to indepedently complete consultative treatment diagnosis, charting, and medical program commencement.</li>
<li>EMR experience a plus.</li>
