MIG and TIG Fabricator

Location: Tualatin, OR
This role operates within a steel bending and fabrication metal shop, primarily focusing on structural steel projects using carbon steel. Occasionally, you will engage in projects involving different metals and welding processes. We seek a MIG and TIG welder interested in a long-term position with growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG processes on various metals.</li>
<li>Collaborate on structural steel projects, ensuring precision and quality.</li>
<li>Interpret and work from blueprints to execute fabrication tasks.</li>
<li>Utilize shears, grinders, and torches efficiently in the shop.</li>
<li>Maintain a high standard of safety and adhere to AWS guidelines.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding with 3+ years of experience.</li>
<li>Ability to perform basic shop tasks in an industrial metal setting.</li>
<li>Experience in structural steel fabrication.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment/ Shift:
<ul>
<li>This position operates within an industrial metal bending and fabrication shop. The day shift runs from either 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The environment includes weld testing in overhead, horizontal, vertical, and flat positions.</li>

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
