Summary:
We are searching for a detail-oriented Superintendent with 5-10 years’ experience in commercial construction interior tenant fit-outs. The Superintendent directs field staff, subcontractors, materials deliveries, and activities necessary to successfully complete a project of varying complexity to produce a quality product on time, within the project budget, complying with safety standards and exceeding customers’ expectations.

Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
<ul>
<li>Assists in developing a project mobilization plan as well as reviews the plans and specs for scope and constructability</li>
<li>Develops, monitors, and executes the most efficient means, methods, and techniques of performing work in coordination with the internal project management team which consists of a Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager</li>
<li>Develops and maintains harmonious relations with owner representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and various jurisdictional inspectors</li>
<li>Familiarity with all trades associated with interior commercial construction including but not limited to demolition, rough carpentry, millwork, framing and GWB, tile, flooring, paint, and MEP trades</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage a clean and well-organized construction project</li>
<li>Understands and has the relative experience to produce high quality construction work that is completed within the contractual time allotted for that work</li>
<li>Coordinates field activities of subcontractors and suppliers and enforces safety policies and procedures for everyone on the worksite</li>
<li>Produces accurate project documentation to include two week look ahead schedules, as-built drawings, and daily construction reports</li>
<li>Seeks out ways to improve the company’s processes and exceed the customer’s expectations</li>
</ul>
 
Supervisory Responsibilities 
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the field personnel and subcontractors on the work-site.
 
Qualifications

Role Overview
Hale Kipa is looking for a Wraparound Facilitator/Care Coordinator to facilitate and coordinate wrapround meetings and services. The Wraparound Facilitator/Care Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the development of the wraparound team and orienting team members to the wraparound process. The Wraparound Facilitator/Care Coordinator coordinates and collaborates with wraparound staff, families and youth, service providers, and community providers to complete the Youth and Family Wrapround plan and Safety /Crisis plan. The Wraparound Facilitator/Care Coordinator also monitors and evaluates progress to ensure the family and youth's goals are being met. This individual also needs to be able to navigate the electronic health record where all client data is stored; and have solid time management and timely documentation skills; as well as being able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative problem solver, strong advocate, and skilled attorney in its Washington D.C. office to serve as a Staff Attorney in the Justice Project. The Justice Project provides support to grassroots racial justice campaigns seeking not simply to reform, but to wholly dismantle systems that criminalize and incarcerate people of color. We aim to help impacted communities define the terms and control how peace is realized in their streets and neighborhoods and to re-imagine public safety for themselves.
This position will report to the Justice Project Program Director and will be a member of the union with compensation determined by the union compensation structure.
What youll do:
The staff attorney focuses on developing relationships with racial justice organizations to support their campaigns and build power in their communities. This work may include identifying and recommending how to respond to legislative and legal developments, providing legal research, litigation, analysis, and writing. The staff attorney will provide support to grassroots partners and collaborate with and across teams to do so.
The staff attorney will investigate racial justice issues related to the wholesale transformation of the criminal legal system, including through data, anecdotal, and other factual collection, and analysis in the communities where our partners work. They will work closely with our partners to support their campaigns and build their base in coordination with our communications and organizing departments. This role also assists investigations and litigation efforts, including discovery, motion writing, coordinating litigation tasks with co-counsel, and working with our plaintiffs and organizing partners. The attorney will prepare legal memoranda and draft other associated policy-related and legal documents. The attorney may also assist with legislative efforts, including analyzing and drafting language for bills. This role is part of a team of attorneys that researches and analyzes policies, laws, and regulations on assigned issues in support of grassroots partners and Advancement Projects overall mission.
