Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. 
A full-time teaching opportunity is available at a middle school specializing in special education within a non-verbal classroom setting for grades 5 through 8. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on delivering tailored educational support to students with severe therapeutic needs.
Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades 5-8.</li>
<li>Utilizing specialized techniques to support non-verbal communication and learning.</li>
<li>Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address academic and therapeutic goals.</li>
<li>Maintaining accurate student records and progress reports.</li>
<li>Creating a safe and engaging classroom environment that promotes growth and development.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience teaching special education students in middle school grades (5th to 8th grade) preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with therapeutic approaches for students with severe communication challenges.</li>
