<li>Ensure young people are attending school and have the supports and resources they need to be successful, such as tutoring, individualized educational plans (IEPs), 504 Plans, or other special accommodations.</li>
<li>Expose students to post-secondary pathways, such college and/or accredited vocational programs, starting in the 9th grade (or as early as possible).</li>
<li>Assist students with post-secondary planning, along with the guidance counselors and/or College Specialists and Career Development Specialists.</li>
<li>Connect the student to the College Specialist to apply to colleges, opportunity programs, and all forms of financial aid, funding, and scholarships.</li>

<li>Report vehicle malfunctions to the Lifestyle Director.</li>
<li>Report any vehicle incidents to the Lifestyle Director.</li>
<li>Complete an incident report for any Resident accidents, injuries or incidents.</li>
<li>Ensure the vehicle is cleaned out after every trip.</li>
<li>Performs errands as assigned by Executive Director/General Manager and/or Lifestyle Director.</li>
<li>Assists the Lifestyle Director with activities-related assignments.</li>
<li>Assist in dining room as needed.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Lifestyle Director, Executive Director/General Manager or Manager on duty.</li>

The Nurse Educator will play a key role in advancing clinical excellence, competency development, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver nursing education programs with an emphasis on Med/Surg and Labor &amp; Delivery best practices
</li>

Assess clinical competencies and provide hands-on training and mentorship to nursing staff
</li>
<li>
Support quality improvement initiatives through evidence-based education and training
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to ensure compliance with nursing standards and protocols
</li>
<li>
Maintain accurate documentation related to education, competencies, and training outcomes
</li>

Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
</li>
<li>
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
</li>
<li>
Minimum 2 years of Labor &amp; Delivery experience (required)
</li>
<li>
Strong clinical knowledge and teaching aptitude
</li>
<li>
Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification (NYSED)
</li>
<li>
AHA BLS certification (required)
</li>
</ul>
