With responsibilities across admissions and student services, the person in this Research Scholar appointment will serve as the Assistant Director, participating in the recruitment and selection of the highest caliber graduate students for our post-JD degrees, playing an active role in advising incoming and current students, and develop, implement and assess programs that enhance our LLM students’ experience. You also will propose and implement student communication initiatives—including web, email, guides, and presentations—that integrate steps along the journey from application to graduation.
In Graduate Admissions, the Assistant Director reviews and evaluates domestic and foreign education credentials, and participates as a member of the Admissions Committee. You also will represent the Law School and its programs to applicants at virtual and international recruitment events, engaging with alumni globally.
In the Office of Graduate Affairs, you will serve as a critical information resource to students on curricular and co-curricular opportunities; you will advise and counsel them on academic matters, workload strategies, and cultural adjustment. You will interpret, learn, and apply academic policies. You also will develop and help implement programming that fosters community building, and students’ academic success and professional development.

The multidisciplinary Social Science Department at LaGuardia Community College, CUNY is seeking a psychologist with teaching experience for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor. We are currently hiring special education teachers for job opportunities in the North Bergen, NJ. We are open to full-time candidates. We have positions available for Special Education Teachers from pre-k to high school levels. We are interested in working with special education teachers/intervention specialists who have a passion for making a difference in students' lives by providing differentiated instruction to help them achieve academic success.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide direct child care services, including serving as the childs teacher.
</li>
<li>
Assist in implementing the classroom plan according to state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agencys policy and procedures.
</li>

Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning through implementing program planning.
</li>

Maintain professional growth through professional development opportunities.
</li>
<li>
Support the Special Education Coordinator in implementing the Early Childhood Development Plan in accordance with state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agencys policy and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education or the School Principal as needed.

Experience:
