Title: Residential Advisor
 Responsible to: Program Manager
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Residential Advisors are responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment which fosters growth and rehabilitation and facilitates the development of mutual aid/self help skills among individuals. Staffs primary role is to provide the appropriate and effective behavioral supports tailored to the needs and desires of each individual to enable each to live as independently as possible. Residential Advisors are expected to recognize when an individual is in a crisis and be able to utilize the appropriate comprehensive crisis management training, psychiatric, medical back up services and/or the crisis team involved with the individual.
Specific Duties:

<li>Assist/monitor/teach individuals with preparation of daytime activities; encourage good personal hygiene, and behavior appropriate in their home or apartment.</li>
<li>Assist the Residential supervisor in the assessment of each individuals(s) ability, interests and need areas toward independent living. Provide input in the development of each ISP. POSITION SUMMARY
Resident Advisors live in the residential group home environment and assist with the creation and facilitation of the daily plan of activities in a safe and nurturing environment. Resident Advisors are responsible for providing compassion, structure, care and guidance within a cottage setting.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises youth at all times by overseeing daily routine of cottage living.
• Works with other team members to contribute to youth programming and service goals.
• Completes all incident and shift reports.
• Ensures cottage compliance with regulations and other program requirements.
• Is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents and property.
• Responds to crisis and emergency situations.

• Resident Advisors work a continuous schedule of five (5) days, which typically consists of a minimum of 10-hour days depending on school schedule. There is a significant amount of overtime in the weekly work week. Resident Advisors are provided live-in quarters and are expected to sleep in the quarters and be on call during sleep hours to respond to youth needs or cottage emergencies.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and reliable 1:1 Paraprofessional to support a student with medical needs in Elizabethtown, PA. This role is ideal for someone with experience in direct student care or medical assistance who is passionate about helping students thrive in the classroom.

Caseload: 1:1 with a student requiring consistent medical support
</li>

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized classroom and medical support to one student
</li>
<li>
Monitor the students well-being and assist with health-related tasks
</li>
<li>
Work collaboratively with school staff and healthcare professionals
</li>
<li>
Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>
Experience in education or direct student care preferred
</li>
<li>
Medical support background (e.g., CNA, PCA, Medical Assistant) highly desirable
</li>
<li>
PA Clearances Required
</li>
</ul>
