Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation or equivalent training/experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in therapeutic recreation.</li>
<li>Experience supervising, training, or working in a setting serving similar residents.</li>
<li>At least one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.</li>
<li>Proven ability to assess and develop programs to meet resident therapeutic needs.</li>
<li>Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.</li>

As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and enriching experience for children in our care. In this position, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
Responsibilities:

<li>Develop and implement lesson plans that promote learning and development</li>
<li>Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children</li>
<li>Build positive and supportive relationships with children and their families</li>
<li>Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents</li>
<li>Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and engaging curriculum</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized classroom</li>
<li>Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience working with young children</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Patient, compassionate, and nurturing attitude</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team</li>
<li>Knowledge of early childhood development principles</li>
<li>CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)</li>
<li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)</li>

Compensation &amp; Pay Range: $14.00-$16.00
Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.
