<li>Develops and implements policies and procedures to prevent future revenue integrity issues</li>
<li>Educates providers on revenue integrity requirements</li>
<li>Monitors and evaluates changes to revenue integrity regulations</li>
<li>Ensures regulatory compliance is valued, understood, and incorporated into billing best practices by all staff. </li>
<li>Ensures compliance with billing regulations, insurance guidelines, and industry standards. </li>
<li>Develops and provides billing compliance training to staff and stakeholders. </li>
<li>Establishes proactive billing systems and monitors these systems to ensure appropriate responses are conducted when identified issues arise. </li>
<li>Develops billing reporting to provide accurate billing data as well as identifying trends that could lead to non-compliance. </li>
<li>Serves as a member on the Quality Improvement Committee </li>
<li>Serves as a member on the Compliance Committee </li>
<li>Provides supervision and management to the billing team to ensure accuracy and timely billing requirements. </li>
<li>Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and streamline workflows. </li>
<li>Oversees Medical Records team to ensure timely and accurate medical records are released.</li>
<li>Directs the billing team to produce timely and accurate invoicing. This includes fee-for-service invoicing and revenue reconciliation statements, and settlements. </li>
<li>Builds and maintains strong relationships to facilitate efficient claims processing, payment resolution, and/or collections efforts as appropriate. </li>
<li>Serves as a point of contact for billing inquiries, payment disputes, and other billing and collections-related matters. </li>
<li>Implements internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance. </li>
<li>Maintains process cycle narratives and compliant internal controls related to the billing cycle. </li>
<li>Prepares regular financial reports related to billing and collections, including aging reports, collection trends, and creates collection action plans. </li>
<li>Partners with HR on credentialing, training, and onboarding needs related to billing. </li>
<li>Participates in the leadership team to attain high employee satisfaction, high quality output and a supportive company environment. </li>
<li>Prepares and manages budget as assigned; analyze variances and initiate corrective actions to maximize operational performance. </li>

Minimum Requirements
<ul>
<li>EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
<ul>
<li>Six plus (6+) years of progressively responsible revenue cycle experience, or financial analysis/billing experience in a high volume, data complex environment, with compliance and Medicaid billing experience. </li>
<li>Five (5) year management experience leading a team</li>
<li>Experience in a variety of Patient Accounting systems/EMRs.</li>
<li>Preferred education and experience:
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.</li>
<li>Ten plus (10+) years of progressively responsible revenue cycle experience, or financial analysis/billing experience in a high volume, data complex environment, with compliance and Medicaid billing experience.</li>
<li>Direct experience with revenue integrity regulations.</li>
<li>Previous healthcare billing, specifically Medicare and/or working with a 638 clinic.</li>
<li>CHRI Certifciation (Certified Healthcare Revenue Integrity).</li>
<li>CPC Certification (Certified professional coder) also a plus. </li>
