Position Summary
BB&amp;E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Manager to join our team, supporting AFCEC onsite at Tyndall, AFB, Panama City, FL. 
Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities
· Provide administration support of construction contracts
· Review and make recommendations on submittals
· Review and make recommendations on test results and reports
· Review and make recommendations on performance/status reports
· Review and make recommendations on requests for progress payments
· Review and provide recommendations on recovery plans
· Review and comment on inspections of on-going and completed construction to ensure compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, codes, criteria, and contract requirements
· If the inspection identifies non-compliance items, submit a written report identifying recommended corrective actions to the COR within 24 hours after completion of an inspection 
· If non-compliant items are life, safety, and health non-compliance issues, immediately verbally notify the COR and submit a written report identifying recommended corrective actions to the COR within 24 hours after completion of the inspection; if a verbal notification was made, include the name of the COR and the date/time of the verbal notification in the written report 
· Coordinate with the supporting Wing and construction contractors for scheduling and execution of O&amp;M training as applicable 
· Provide assistance to actively manage cost growth of project resulting from user requested changes 
· Review and make recommendations on construction submittals for compliance with applicable design specifications
Requirements

Experience &amp; Education
· Experience: A minimum of 10 years of directly applicable work experience is required
· Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Science) from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited college or university is required

Other tasks such as daily greasing of the skid, pre trips, and the cleanness of the equipment.

Looking for someone who could run a crew of one to three people installing erosion products including silt fence. Erosion logs, straw blanket, inlet protection, Floating Curtain, Hydroseed, Straw Mulch, and Hydro Vac. We have 3500 for the D drivers up to Semis for the A drivers. As a Forman you will be on the ground with your crew installing these products with the laborers. Equipment knowledge is a plus such as Cat Brand skid steers. Summary: The Carpenter has knowledge of various carpentry techniques and is responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures and fixtures in residential buildings. This role will install cabinets, shelving, drywall and insulation while also adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks and hinges. Other duties will include cutting and measuring materials according to a client's requirements. A successful Carpenter is hardworking, reliable, and be detail oriented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.</li>
<li>Take measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.</li>
<li>Cutting, shaping, and smoothing of lumber and other material according to measurements.</li>
<li>Install of windows and doors.</li>
<li>Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items.</li>
<li>Build scaffolding and other construction structures.</li>
<li>Finishing trim and rough carpentry.</li>
<li>Touching up and punch-listing all trim and drywall items, as well as fix door and hardware issues.</li>
<li>Install exterior façade of building.</li>
<li>Other duties as needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred. </li>
<li>Proven experience as a carpenter.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.</li>
<li>Punchlist experience.</li>
<li>Completion of OSHA 10 or 30, or ability to complete.</li>
<li>Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in carpentry, </li>

<li>Sense of Urgency</li>

Work Conditions:
This is a fully on-site role at the project location(s). Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work. Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
