El Rol: 
El Electricista es responsable de proporcionar asistencia y apoyo técnico al Supervisor Mantenimiento para la implementación efectiva del mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de equipos eléctricos principales y auxiliares y otros accesorios relacionados para la operación segura y confiable de las unidades generatrices. Aplicará sus conocimientos de electricidad y conocimientos generales de electrónica relacionados con la instalación, remoción, reparación y conservación de equipos e instrumentos eléctricos de Centrales Generatrices.
Lo que harás: 
<ul>
<li>Ejecuta trabajos de electricidad relacionados con instalación, remoción, diagnóstico, reparación, calibración, conservación preventiva y correctiva de equipos de Centrales Generatrices, turbogeneradores y patios de interruptores: subestaciones, excitatrices, generadores, relevadores de circuitos, centros de distribución de carga, tableros de distribución e instrumentos y mecanismos de control.</li>
<li>Instala, remueve, diagnostica y repara los circuitos eléctricos de equipos automáticos y equipos de control, tales como: interruptores, transformadores, cargadores de batería, inversores, suministradores de potencia ininterrumpida (UPS), sistemas de control de excitación de generadores, interruptores estáticos, controladores estáticos de motores, controladores lógicos programables (PLC), paneles de alarmas y equipos de control automático.</li>
<li>Inspecciona motores y generadores, instala equipos de centros de distribución de carga y hace reparaciones eléctricas generalas a los mismas.</li>
<li>Inspecciona y reemplaza escobillas a generadores en funcionamiento.</li>
<li>Instala, remueve, repara y da conservación a conductos eléctricos (conduits) tanto rígidos como flexibles y sus terminaciones, bandejas de cables (trays) y ductos de barras y otros tipos de conductos eléctricos, tanto aéreos como soterrados y cables de señal, control y potencia.</li>
<li>Instala, remueve, prueba, ajusta y da mantenimiento a equipos de “Public Address Paging System” e instrumentos eléctricos de medición, supervisión, indicación y otros similares, según sea requerido. </li>
<li>Inspecciona y hace pruebas a los equipos según sea necesario, incluyendo, pero no limitando a pruebas de aislación, pruebas de conductividad y de factor de potencia, entre otras.</li>
<li>Instala estructuras de barras colectoras de corriente eléctrica, hace empalmes de cables soterrados y aéreos y de aisladores cabezales.</li>
<li>Repara instrumentos portables utilizados en la conservación y pruebas de equipos.</li>
<li>Interpreta diagramas y planos relacionados con el trabajo que realiza, hace estudios, análisis de circuitos eléctricos y electrónicos en equipos, recomienda cambios y modificaciones.</li>
<li>Distribuye, dirige y verifica la labor de los ayudantes.</li>
<li>Mantiene y rinde informes de las condiciones de uso los equipos e instrumentos relacionados con sus funciones.</li>
<li>Conduce vehículos livianos de motor en el desempeño de sus funciones. Inspecciona el vehículo asignado antes de salir, hace reparaciones menores en casos de situaciones imprevistas.</li>
<li>Asiste en la modificación, mejora de equipos y sistemas eléctricos existentes.</li>
<li>Cumple con los estándares y procedimientos eléctricos.</li>
<li>Mantiene los bancos de baterías lo que incluye tomar lecturas de gravedad especifica, temperatura, resistencia interna y de voltaje, comprobar nivel y agregar agua desmineralizada a celdas. Comprueba la condición de carga y realiza labores de limpieza a dichos bancos y sus cuartos.</li>
<li>Mantiene los archivos completos del equipo, registros y dibujos para todo el equipo designado.</li>
<li>Asegura y mantiene la confiabilidad y el rendimiento de los sistemas eléctricos de la Central e involucrando trabajos tales como inspeccionar, probar y diagnosticar las condiciones de operación de los diversos componentes de la Central.</li>
<li>Inspecciona, repara, instala y retira todo tipo de motores, generadores, transformadores, interruptores, equipos de control, cableado, sistemas de señal eléctrica y comunicación, baterías de almacenamiento, y trabajar con sistemas eléctricos de altos voltajes.</li>
<li>Apoya la adquisición de gestión de materiales, como cotizaciones, solicitudes de propuestas, contratos de servicios, comparaciones de ofertas, solicitudes de compra y órdenes de compra generales.</li>
<li>Ayuda en la planificación, programación y realización del mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo y de revisión de todos los equipos de la Central.</li>
<li>Garantiza un entorno de trabajo seguro al priorizar la seguridad, la calidad y la producción.</li>
<li>Completa otras tareas según lo solicite su supervisor.</li>

Requisitos:

<li>Grado Técnico en Electricidad de una institución universitaria debidamente acreditada en Estados Unidos o Puerto Rico.</li>
<li>Licencia de Perito Electricista vigente en Puerto Rico. </li>
<li>Dos (2) años o más de experiencia como electricista en una industria relacionada.</li>
<li>Experiencia en lectura de planos eléctricos, manuales técnicos y diagramas de tuberías e instrumentación P&amp;IDs.</li>
<li>Conocimiento y experiencia en el uso de herramientas manuales y eléctricas, equipos de prueba y otros dispositivos de análisis.</li>
<li>Dominio del idioma inglés, preferible. </li>
<li>Trabajo en equipo para facilitar el cumplimiento del trabajo.</li>
