Job Purpose: To support the success of MBA Design Sales Consultants through various administrative, drafting, and design tasks. 
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

<li>Assist Design Sales Consultants with all aspects of the design process </li>
<li>Sketch, measure, and photo existing field conditions </li>
<li>Create accurate Existing Condition Drawings, Design Concept Drawings, Permit Drawings, Work Scopes and other construction documents using Chief Architect and Right Touch (CRM) </li>
<li>Meet with clients to make selections as needed for the project while staying within budget </li>
<li>Providing superior customer service to interior and exterior clients </li>
<li>Continually develop new skills, knowledge and utilize technology to fulfill responsibilities </li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of products and keep up to date on current construction technology, building products and trends in the industry. </li>
<li>Participate in tradeshows, seminars, &amp; other events as requested</li>

Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>2 years residential drafting experience</li>
<li>2 years working one on one with clients to determine material selections, budgets, and executing sales contracts </li>
<li>College degree in Interior Design or Architectural Drafting preferred </li>
<li>Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus) </li>
<li>Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail. </li>
<li>Strong time management skills and the ability to manage several projects at a time </li>
<li>Capability to perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner </li>

TheProject Managerwill be responsible for customer communication, project planning, project budget, and project execution and providing technical leadership for new product development projects with high complexity.

<li>Manage the project, the project team, contribute to the project scope and project objectives as well as assure that all steps are completed.</li>
<li>Provide communication interface to customer for communication of project status, schedule, requirements, etc.</li>
<li>Manage and provide Technical Leadership to project teams across multiple sites throughout the execution of product development projects.</li>
<li>Schedule and manage internal team meetings to address necessary action items and keep projects on schedule.</li>
<li>Manage internal and external suppliers for on time completion of actions</li>
<li>Timely communication to management for resource requirements to keep projects on schedule</li>
<li>Define product specifications and project scope to ensure it is in line with market / customer needs and ensure development of the product / process accordingly.</li>
<li>Make sure that projects are in accordance with the financial objectives including creation, review, submission of capital requests, review and submittal of product costing information and managing project scope creep</li>
<li>Make decisions in order to speed up the process and ensure the best time to market, time to volume and time to profitability.</li>
<li>Ensure application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles during the product development.</li>
<li>Ensure that capacity planning is performed through the project phases so that supply meets expected demand.</li>
<li>Provide project updates to functional management on a regular basis</li>
<li>Ensure systems are set up for ordering / manufacturing of products</li>
<li>Manage &amp; reduce risks including the development of alternatives using risk reduction tools in order to maintain project objectives and schedules.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from a four-year university with 4+ years related experience and/or training within the connector industry, preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical product drawings</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various levels of management</li>
<li>Ability to effectively manage customer communication and expectations</li>
<li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;</li>
<li>Should have knowledge and skills using:
<ul>
<li>Project Management software</li>
<li>Spreadsheet software (Excel)</li>
<li>Word Processing software (Word)</li>
<li>Presentation software (PowerPoint)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Ability to communicate and relate with project teams in each region of the world.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal supervision and provide updates on project status where issues or problems can be reviewed, discussed and resolved.</li>
