NAKON Excavating is seeking skilled Excavation Operators and Laborers to work in small teams of 2-3 people. This role involves operating excavators, skidsteers, and loaders and being able to do labor tasks as needed. We primarily focus on residential excavation; experience in residential excavation is preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently
- Prepare construction and excavation sites
- Remove soil and debris according to project plans
- Maintain excavation equipment and perform routine checks
- Clean up job sites post-operation
- Assist laborers with various tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and site plans
- Load dump trucks with excavated material
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in excavation operations
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficiency in equipment operation and site safety practices
- Experience reading blueprints and maintaining equipment
- Physical stamina for demanding labor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Goal-focused and driven mindset
- Knowledge of basic maintenance
