<li>Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs based on quantity take-offs and pricing.</li>
<li>Provide accurate and competitive bid proposals to potential clients.</li>
<li>Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.</li>
<li>Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client meetings to clarify project requirements and address any questions.</li>
<li>Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of materials, labor costs, and subcontractor rates.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the project management team to assist in project planning and scheduling.</li>
<li>Monitor costs throughout the construction process and provide ongoing cost analysis.</li>
<li>Keep abreast of industry trends, materials, and technology advancements to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.</li>
<li>Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.</li>
<li>Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to compare quotes and negotiate pricing.</li>

Requirements:

<li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).</li>
<li>10+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator or similar role.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and techniques.</li>
<li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.</li>
<li>Familiarity with construction estimation software such as PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools.</li>
<li>Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
