Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Electrician Crew Leader is responsible for the installation and modification of electrical systems in new construction homes after the rough-in stage. This includes installing or replacing customer-requested wiring changes, as well as adding or removing power, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Aiding in installation of rough wiring or trim work for builder changes etc throughout the process of new home construction</li>
<li>Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications.</li>
<li>Maintaining safe work environment for the crew. </li>
</ul>
Required Skills/Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Accuracy with measurements</li>
<li>Ability to scale prints and properly read prints</li>
<li>Ability to multitask</li>
<li>Electrical knowledge to rewire existing work to current code and needs. </li>
<li>Residential electrical knowledge and skillset</li>
<li>Properly filling out work orders </li>
<li>Reporting findings to supervisor or management. </li>
</ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li>
<li>Must have basic electrical knowledge.</li>
<li>Must have basic construction safety knowledge. </li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be able to lift up to ­­­­­60 pounds at times.</li>
<li>Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders and digging</li>
<li>Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. </li>
<li>Must be able to work in confined spaces and attic work.</li>
<li>Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.</li>
<li>Must be able to work outside in all types of weather, including high temperature and under the sun.</li>
<li>Must have clean driving record. </li>
