What is the role? 
The Proof of Insurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the issuance of client insurance documents within the US Regional Business Service Center. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in the delivery of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Auto ID cards, while supervising the work of Proof of Insurance Analysts. You will be reporting into CJ Moon, our Head of Proof of Insurance.

Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

This position reports to a Project Manager or Lead AV Technician and is a member of the Operations team supporting the mission and goals of a "Best in Class" sales and AV integration program.&nbsp; As an operational member of a dynamic installation operation, the AV Technician will work with minimal supervision to receive, inventory, assemble and install AV equipment on job site locations to comply with the company’s policies and procedures, including quality, safety, environmental, and business practices.
 
This is a travel position and there is extensive travel involved to job sites across the country.
 
Essential job functions, duties and responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing the process of receiving, inventorying, assembling, installing, commissioning and testing AV and other simple network equipment on job site locations with minimal supervision and oversight. This position requires a variety of duties including construction labor as well as electrical and electronic installation and repair but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Moving and/or repositioning large equipment or wiring supplies. Individuals must be able to lift and carry heavy objects of 50 lbs. unassisted and to steady objects above shoulder height while fastened into place by co-workers.</li>
<li>Trouble-shooting audio and video cabling</li>
<li>Installing and terminating cables with the appropriate solder or compression connector</li>
<li>Drilling in drywall, concrete, and cinderblock for the purpose of running wires, installing projectors, projection screens, cameras, and speaker systems</li>
<li>Sanding, painting and other light construction jobs</li>
<li>Cleaning up job sites and breaking down boxes</li>
<li>Organizing and storing materials</li>
<li>Installing electronic and electrical components into equipment racks and other locations per wiring diagrams or verbal instructions</li>
<li>Working in confined spaces</li>
<li>Working on ladders and lifts at heights in excess of 10ft</li>
<li>Providing some direction mentoring of other installers and technicians</li>
<li>Performing other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
<ul>
<li>Prior AV experience</li>
<li>CTS certification or the ability to achieve certification within six months of start date</li>
<li>Ability to achieve CTS-I certification six months following achievement of CTS certification.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to travel on regular/constant basis and often on short notice with long/unusual work hours&nbsp;</li>
<li>Successfully complete criminal background check, motor vehicle review and drug test prior to start</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and experience working on teams</li>
<li>Computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office productivity software including Google, Microsoft Word and Excel</li>
<li>Experience and comfort with hand tools, small power tools and industrial tools</li>
<li>Ability to learn new tasks quickly</li>
<li>Ability to make important decisions under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Problem-solving and time management skills</li>
<li>Friendly and approachable</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with less than two citations in last two years and reliable transportation</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 pounds and complete safety compliance training</li>
</ul>
Working Conditions:
<ul>
<li>Work can be in normal comfortable, air-conditioned environments, but will also include less comfortable cold or hot construction environments and on occasion, tasks require work outdoors or in a suspension rig.</li>
