JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to top management, the AS9100 - ISO Management Representative is responsible for maintaining both an AS9100 Program and Supplier Management System and an ISO 9001 Program and Supplier Management System.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The AS9100 - ISO9001 Management Representative is responsible for the following:

Ensuring that the quality management system conforms to the latest revision of the standard.
Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement to top management.
Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
Responsible for document changes and document control.
Oversight and management of the supplier audit and questionnaire process.
Oversee the Quality Management System internal and external audit process.
Oversee material certification inspection process.
Oversee all of the Quality Management System activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledgeable of Company quality policies.
Knowledgeable of the Quality Management System policies and procedures.
Considerable knowledge of the Quality Management System and business operations is required to ascertain problem situations and to recommend practical solutions to complex issues related to quality function.
Must possess good interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills to interface with various levels of employees while performing quality management functions.
Must possess strong decision-making abilities.
Must have good project leadership skills.
With limited supervision and quality work ethic, functions as a member of a customer-driven quality team whose goal is to ensure that product quality requirements established by the customer have been achieved.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

15 years of experience managing AS9100 or ISO9001 quality systems

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $75,000 - $100,000 annual salary. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
