Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused AI Safety Operator Driver to support technology in real-world ride-sharing scenarios. This role centers on safe vehicle operation, monitoring autonomous systems, engaging with riders, and providing detailed feedback to improve system performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate engineering vehicles equipped with FSD (Supervised), taking control when needed to ensure passenger and public safety.
- Professionally interact with riders, including greetings, answering questions, and supporting route adjustments.
- Navigate construction zones, pedestrian-heavy areas, and complex traffic conditions while monitoring system behavior.
- Complete pre-shift readiness checks (software, sensors, vehicle cleanliness).
- Maintain exemplary driving behavior and situational awareness at all times.
- Travel domestically as required to support testing in various environments and weather conditions.
- Provide insights and feedback to help improve safety processes, data collection, and system performance.
- Produce detailed daily reports documenting observations, issues, and system behavior.
Requirements.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong hazard recognition and situational awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with strong PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data tools.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends (15% differential applies).
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
- Ability to meet safety-sensitive role requirements, including drug testing.
