IT Support Technician (Multiple Openings)
Tampa, FL 33610 (Onsite)
12-Month Contract through 10/1/2027 (with ongoing extensions)
Flexible Hours | 35 Hours per Week
$19-$22/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
A client of Insight Global is looking for several IT support professionals to join their team in Tampa.
These positions will provide a mix of workstation deployment, desktop support, service desk support, mobile device assistance, and basic A/V support.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting end users, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Successful individuals will work across a variety of IT support functions, helping users with hardware and software support, device deployments, technical troubleshooting, and day-to-day technology needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and end-user devices
- Configure, deploy, and support Windows-based workstations
- Perform device imaging, setup, deployment, and replacement activities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and performance issues
- Support mobile devices and related technologies
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests in person and through ticketing systems
- Deliver a high level of customer service while supporting business users
- Participate in workstation refreshes, technology rollouts, and other IT initiatives
- Document and track technical issues and resolutions
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of IT support, desktop support, help desk, deployment, or service desk experience
- Experience with workstation setup, deployment, imaging, or troubleshooting
- Experience supporting hardware, software, mobile devices, and A/V support.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to occasionally provide after-hours support for meetings and events
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+
- ITIL Certification
- Experience supporting users in an enterprise environment
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
