Aegis is seeking a maintenance technician to join our client's organization in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
Must have:
<ul>
<li>
High school or GED.
</li>
<li>
2+ years of experience in a maintenance position
</li>
<li>
Manufacturing experience – heavier or similar industry would be ideal.
</li>
<li>
Experience with equipment repair
</li>
<li>
Experience fixing electromechanical systems including switches and sensors.
</li>
<li>
Experience with interpreting wiring diagrams to assist in equipment breakdowns.
</li>
<li>
Overall mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems experience.
</li>
<li>
Experience with blueprints and work instructions – able to read and comprehend complex instructions, and internal communications from managers.
</li>
<li>
Experience with maintenance planning and preventative maintenance – working in a CMMS system.
</li>
<li>
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, or equivalent
</li>
<li>
Email proficiency and able to keep track/document issues/resolutions.
</li>
</ul>
Nice to have:
<ul>
<li>Associates degree in Industrial maintenance studies.</li>
<li>PLC/automation exposure or experience in previous roles.</li>
<li>Coursework toward Journeyman maintenance mechanic technology</li>
</ul>
