Like working independently, solving problems, and being out in the field instead of stuck in one building all day?
Auto-Chlor System is hiring a Field Service Technician to install and work with commercial dishwashing equipment throughout Indianapolis.
You'll travel to customer locations, troubleshoot problems, work hands-on with equipment, and interact directly with customers.
No commercial dishwasher experience required. We'll train you on our equipment.
What You'll Do
- Travel to restaurant and commercial customer locations
- Install and set up commercial equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues
- Work with basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components
- Use hand and power tools
- Test equipment and solve problems in the field
- Work independently while managing your daily responsibilities
- Communicate directly with customers and train them on their equipment
Your Experience
We're especially interested in backgrounds such as:
- Field or route service
- Facilities, apartment, or building maintenance
- Equipment service
- Appliance installation or repair
- Cable, internet, or utility service
- HVAC or plumbing
- Automotive service
- Other hands-on service or maintenance roles
Your industry can be different. What matters is your ability to troubleshoot, work independently, use tools, and provide great customer service.

Requirements
- Previous hands-on service, maintenance, mechanical, or similar experience
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working independently and interacting with customers
- On-call rotation approximately every 7–8 weeks
