Lindsay Hart LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in Portland, Oregon.
Key Details:
- Pay: $120,000 - $135,000 DOE, plus a generous annual bonus structure. Candidates with additional experience may qualify for a higher range.
- Schedule: Fulltime, Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office weekly, including Wednesdays)

Who You Are: You are a motivated litigation attorney with a solid foundation in civil litigation who is ready to take the next step in a demanding, fastpaced practice. You bring confidence, curiosity, and sound judgment to your work and are comfortable managing assigned matters with steadily increasing responsibility.
You communicate clearly, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues while moving work forward independently. You’re organized, engaged, and interested in developing deeper expertise in litigation involving medical and injuryrelated issues.
Qualifications Include:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Oregon Bar membership; Washington licensure preferred or willingness to obtain
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Experience or exposure to matters involving medical records, injury claims, or complex factual issues is a strong plus
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a busy litigation practice
(Experience from plaintiffside personal injury, medicalrelated litigation, judicial clerkships, DA or PD offices is welcomed and transferable.)
What You’ll Do: As an Associate Attorney at Lindsay Hart LLP, you’ll manage diverse litigation matters across Oregon and Washington. You’ll work on cases that may include medical malpractice, long term care defense, and other civil litigation, while collaborating with experienced partners and building strong client relationships. This role offers autonomy, mentorship, and the chance to develop deep expertise in complex litigation.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing litigation cases from initial filing through resolution
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery with precision and clarity
- Conducting legal research and preparing detailed case analyses
- Communicating proactively with partners, clients, and opposing counsel
- Attending hearings, depositions, and mediations and other proceedings
- Collaborating on strategy and trial preparation with senior attorneys
- Provide high level support to partners on complex cases, taking ownership of key tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
- Other duties as assigned
