Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with developmental or physical disabilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support individuals in community integration and social activities
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Administer medications and monitor health needs as directed
- Transport clients to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain required DSP certifications and complete training
- Compassionate, dependable, and person-centered approach to care
