A leading global technology and digital media organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join its Personalization & Discovery Growth team in Seattle, WA. This team builds scalable marketing technology systems that power paid media campaigns across digital and social channels using Java/Python, AWS, distributed systems, data pipelines, and AI-powered technologies. This is a 6-month onsite contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion.

This is an opportunity to build technology that directly impacts customer acquisition, content discovery, and subscriber growth at global scale. You’ll work across the full campaign lifecycle, developing AI-powered automation, agentic systems, ad-tech integrations, real-time measurement pipelines, and AI co-pilots. You’ll also collaborate with Applied Scientists on ML-powered capabilities while gaining hands-on experience with modern AI-native development and large-scale cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience
\n
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
\n
· 3+ years of professional software development experience
\n
· 2+ years of experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems
\n
· 2+ years of experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Spark, or Hadoop
\n
· Strong development experience with Java and/or Python
\n
· Experience with AWS services, including Step Functions, S3, Redshift, Lambda, and EMR
\n
· Experience with distributed systems
\n
· Experience developing data pipelines
\n
· Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
\n
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment
\n
