Fire Alarm Technician — $25–$35/hr | Full-Time | Nashville, TN

We're hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems for healthcare, education, detention, and commercial clients in the Nashville area. If you have hands-on experience with fire alarm systems and want to work with a company that invests in its people and its customers, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Install, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain electrical fire alarm systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Install cabling, mount devices, wire control panels, and program/test systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend efficient repair solutions
- Supervise installation work to ensure it meets customer specifications
- Assist with preventive maintenance and communicate system performance to customers
- Maintain accurate time sheets, service tickets, and inventory records
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience testing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems
- Background as an apprentice electrician or low-voltage technician (minimum)
- Working knowledge of access control and CCTV systems (a plus)
- Ability to read CAD-generated prints, blueprints, and riser diagrams
- NICET certification preferred; high school diploma required
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid, current driver's license
- Comfortable working at heights (30+ feet) and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
