Fire Alarm Technician — $25–$35/hr | Full-Time | Nashville, TN

We're hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems for healthcare, education, detention, and commercial clients in the Nashville area. If you have hands-on experience with fire alarm systems and want to work with a company that invests in its people and its customers, we want to hear from you.


What You'll Do:

  • Install, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain electrical fire alarm systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
  • Install cabling, mount devices, wire control panels, and program/test systems
  • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend efficient repair solutions
  • Supervise installation work to ensure it meets customer specifications
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and communicate system performance to customers
  • Maintain accurate time sheets, service tickets, and inventory records


What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience testing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems
  • Background as an apprentice electrician or low-voltage technician (minimum)
  • Working knowledge of access control and CCTV systems (a plus)
  • Ability to read CAD-generated prints, blueprints, and riser diagrams
  • NICET certification preferred; high school diploma required
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid, current driver's license
  • Comfortable working at heights (30+ feet) and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Schedule: Full-Time | Some out-of-town travel required
