Overview

CTG is seeking a Software Engineer II for our client.

Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months

Overview:

This engineer will contribute to two active projects: a file transfer website and an image recognition automation solution. The role calls for hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework and UX design, along with C# and cloud development experience.

What you’ll do

Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain applications and systems.
Build user-facing features with Angular, React, or Svelte, applying UX design principles to the experience.
Contribute to development work involving C# and Azure or AWS.
Work on a file transfer website and an image recognition automation project.
Analyze application interfaces and integrations, troubleshoot issues, and recommend technical solutions.
Prepare technical specifications, estimates, test plans, and documentation.
Collaborate with development, operations, business teams, and vendors to meet project milestones.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members when needed.

What you’ll bring

Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework: Angular, React, or Svelte.
UX design experience for user-facing applications.
Experience with Azure or AWS and C#.
At least 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience, plus an associate degree; or 7 years of combined higher education and work experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical and business teams.

Experience with enterprise application architecture, interfaces, and integrations is preferred.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
