Job Title: Resident Assistant (1st & 3rd Shift)

Pay Rate: $14.00 – $15.00 / hour (Based on experience) + Bonus Potential
Hours: Full-Time (Minimum 36 hours/week, 72 hours per pay period) | Rotating Weekends & Holidays
About Us
Eminent Quality Care LLC operates 4-bed Adult Family Homes serving older adults and individuals with disabilities who require 24-hour oversight and care. We are a growing organization currently managing five locations, with our sixth home opening soon.
Available Shifts
- 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM / Float & Flexible Shifts): Scheduling flexibility is required across our local home locations. Shifts may vary (e.g., 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM, or full 12-hour shifts). Duties include medication administration, meal preparation, activity leading, resident ADLs/IADLs, and electronic charting.
- 3rd Shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM / Awake Overnight): Oversee resident well-being overnight. Duties include remaining fully awake during the shift, preparing breakfast, deep cleaning the residence, restocking food and medical supplies, and providing attentive resident care.
- Weekend Shift: Rotating Saturdays and Sundays (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) in accordance with DHS 88 regulations.
- Administer and document medications accurately using Electronic Charting (ECP).
- Prepare meals, conduct light housekeeping, lead activities, and maintain a safe, clean home environment.
- Maintain professional communication with guests, care managers, and health professionals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Prior caregiving experience in an Adult Family Home, long-term care setting, or CNA certification preferred (especially working with elderly individuals or adults with developmental disabilities).
- Medication Administration: 1+ years of medication administration experience preferred.
- Technology: Computer literacy required, including experience with ECP (or electronic monitoring charting) and standard tools (email, scanning, mobile applications).
- Physical & Background: Ability to lift 30 lbs. Must pass a Wisconsin DOJ Caregiver/Criminal Background Check, TMU/DHS Caregiver Misconduct Check, and present a valid TB test result within the last year.
