Job Title: Project Coordinator - Power Generation Division

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the Central Maintenance - Special Projects organization within the Power Generation Division. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction or renewables industry, with demonstrated experience in project management and interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines. In this role, you will collaborate with and assist a Project Manager on various Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage projects. A technical understanding of mechanical and electrical aspects, as well as field construction techniques and equipment, is preferred. This role is based on-site in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with required travel to project sites up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
  • Identify potential risks and technical challenges, and develop solutions.
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information.
  • Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
  • Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails.
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Schedule Management using Smartsheet.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Familiarity with Maximo.
  • Experience in budget and cost-tracking.

Work Environment

The position is based on-site at the Palm Beach office, with up to 25% travel to project sites. The work environment involves collaboration with a diverse team and requires a balance of office-based tasks and field visits.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
