You will prepare and review technical documents, perform engineering calculations, coordinate design activities, support permitting, conduct field investigations, and help manage projects and project personnel.\nYou will work closely with engineers, scientists, project managers, CAD professionals, contractors, regulators, and clients to develop practical solutions for solid waste facilities and coordination, proposal development, and technical leadership.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSolid Waste Engineering and Design\n\n \n Support the planning, design, permitting, construction, and operation of solid waste facilities and related infrastructure.\n \n Prepare engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, construction plans, reports, and permit applications.\n \n Work Support senior project managers and technical leaders on unusual or complex assignments.\n \n Help ensure projects are delivered accurately, safely, on schedule, and within budget.\n\nPermitting and Environmental Compliance\n\n \n Prepare and support solid waste, stormwater, industrial wastewater, air-quality, and environmental permit applications.\n \n Review laboratory and field data for accuracy, completeness, trends, and potential compliance concerns.\n \n Prepare compliance-monitoring reports, technical memoranda, agency responses, and supporting documentation.\n \n Coordinate with applicable local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.\n \n Assist clients in understanding permitting requirements, compliance obligations, and recommended corrective actions.\n \n Maintain familiarity with evolving environmental regulations and solid waste industry practices.\n\nConstruction and Field Support\n\n \n Conduct field assignments in varied terrain and weather conditions.\n least five years of relevant civil, environmental, geotechnical, or solid waste engineering experience.\n \n Active Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain PE registration within six months of employment.\n \n Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, or permit applications.\n \n Ability to interpret engineering drawings, laboratory results, field data, and regulatory requirements.\n \n Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software commonly used in environmental consulting.\n \n Strong written, verbal,
